We were stopping by to grab a coffee. I ordered a macchiato and tried to clarify the size because each country, or even city, has different standards. The server, a tall woman with bland hair, was extremely rude, ignoring my question when there were only two guests behind me and one had already ordered. I politely tried to clarify again, and she rudely responded, "What do you want?!"
I paid for the small cup, gave it to a friend, and went back to order a larger size coffee. She pointed to the cup that had been made, saying that was the large size. I ended up with the same cup, but it had chocolate on top, while the cup she pointed to earlier did not. I told her that I can't have chocolate. She became offensive, saying, "Oh my god, you're super complicated," even though there was no one else in line. She then loudly complained in German to another lady at the cashier.
I understand that the culture is different here, but the staff just don’t qualify for the food and health industry because they don't understand allergies, which can cause serious medical issues for visitors.
Flies were all over the foods and juices.
Good thing is that the coffee was really good for that one...
Read moreThe interior is GORGEOUS, the aesthetic is amazing for a gas station restaurant, it is absolutely amazing. But whoever placed those price tags and whoever else approved of those, I fear they're not in their right minds. Genuinely never thought I'd see a single roasted chicken thigh be so convincingly sold for 28 whole euros. I could feed a family of 4, and leave leftovers for the neighbours for that amount. Mind you, the pricing was also so unclear, I thought for 28euros I'd get a whole salad on the side maybe a small desert or a drink. Not even that! Just potatoes and a chicken thigh, not even a sauce? Left the table hungry and just overall rabid by the scam that it is. I didn't even pay this amount at much nicer restaurants in the heart of Vienna, for much grander meals. Lesson learned. I read in someone else's review how the service is comparable to a communist restaurant, I couldn't've put it in better...
