We were attracted by the big sign outside advertising wood fired grill. Grilled food is one of my favourites an and that was the main reason for choosing the restaurant. We ordered grilled chicken burger and Thai curry. I've asked specifically the waiter if the chicken is grilled. He said "yes". They didn't have a menu in English. When my burger arrived I immediately realised the meat wasn't actually grilled but rather cooked on an electric hot plate (pictured). The meat tasted very bland, lacked flavour and the sauce they used was particularly sweet. I took a couple of bites only and I called the waiter to explain that, I don't like the burger at all and the meat is not grilled. He offered no apology or discount and simply pointed out that only 2 items on the menu are wood fired grilled... Loved it here. The food was delicious and the staff were really helpful. We ordered the Thai soup and tomato soup to start. These were nice although the tomato soup had whipped cream on it which had mixed reviews from us.

We then ordered the hangover burger and salad for mains. Burger was excellent but the salad was a bit confusing. I just fancied a plain salad with a few prawns on it. Seeing that the Caesar salad offered this option I thought it would be easy to add prawns to a small salad. We struggled with the language barrier but the waitress went to speak to the chef on my behalf. They made me a lovely prawn salad and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered "entrecote" medium rare, but got a distinctly different cut of meat, like a sirloin or faux filet, and cooked to more than medium. When we complained, the waitress took our plates away and the manager appeared. He claimed the cut was entrecote and that they had "trimmed the fat" from it. Anyone having had an entrecote understands that you cannot "trim the fat" from it and come up with a solid piece of meat with the texture of a sirloin steak. He did not even comment on the cooking.
