Great location and lovely views! This restaurant is popular but has lots of space. There's a shuttle bus for those not wanting to ski back down the mountain after a few drinks - or too much food! The service here is very friendly and our food arrived quickly. The Kasespatzle was delicious, and a huge portion! Very good value for money. They also do fresh pizzas here. This is a popular place for drinking from what I could tell. The restaurant is next to a chairlift, which is very convenient.

It’s a fantastic place. The view is absolutely stunning. When we arrived, the terrace was full, but they brought us a table and chairs so we could sit down. The staff is very kind. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, the music is good, and the sun is shining☀️ so what more could you ask for?

Een fantastisch nieuw restaurant en top locatie voor een super lunch of diner. Jarenlang als simpele parablu bar onder aan de "autobahn piste" nu verbouwd tot toptent. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst in het restaurant met bediening. En in het gedeelte met bediening ook een aparte menukaart met super gerechten, die apart worden bereid naast het afhaal gedeelte. Hele leuke wijnkaart in het restaurant met service. Bovenin een 3 tal tafels met uitzicht op het dal en berg. Met mooi weer en zon, draait het glazen dak helemaal open en dit geeft een unieke beleving. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Dit keer was 1ste seizoen en nog niet door iedereen ontdekt. Hopelijk geen 2e seppi's waar altijd alles is bezet en gereserveerd.

Tolle Architektur, durchschnittliches Essen. Dafür gibt es die zwei Sterne.

Leider geht der Preis für das schlechteste Service-Team der Zillertal Arena an das Team der Umbrella-Bar! Gratulation.

Wir waren insgesamt 5 Wochen in der Saison 22/23 im Zillertal und des Öfteren in der Umbrella-Bar.

Die Kellner im Bedienungsbereich muss man suchen und aktiv ansprechen, sonst bekommt man weder Getränk noch Essen. Das Essen braucht – selbst bei nicht annähernd voller Hütte – eine Ewigkeit. Die Vorspeise (Suppe) wird gerne zeitgleich mit der Hauptspeise gereicht, so dass ein Gericht immer kalt ist.

Wenn man dann zahlen möchte, darf man sich wieder aktiv auf die Suche nach dem Personal machen. Insgesamt ist das Personal lustlos, unmotiviert, unaufmerksam und unfreundlich. Egal ob am Anfang oder am Ende der Saison.

Ergänzung Januar 2024:

Wir haben der Umbrella-Bar erneut eine Chance in unserem Gerlos-Urlaub gegeben. Und was soll ich sagen... das Personal setzt an Dreistigkeit noch einen oben drauf. Alle oben erwähnten Punkte aus 2023 sind 1:1 geblieben. Der (un)freundliche Kellner im Bedienungsrestaurant legt allerdings dieses Jahr noch mehr Unfreundlichkeit an den Tag: Nachdem man endlich jemanden zum Zahlen gefunden hat, und auf Grund des wiederholt schlechten Services kein Trinkgeld gibt, wird man auch noch aktiv angepampt, dass man doch bitte Trinkgeld geben solle.

Wir werden mit unseren Gruppen in Zukunft die Umbrella-Bar meiden und als unser Tour-Ziel eine andere...

Vandaag met een groep van 9 man gegeten bij Umbrella. We werden geholpen door Jan. Uitermate schandalig hoe wij werden behandeld.

Er zijn verkeerde bestellingen aangeslagen die we hebben afgewezen bij ontvangst, waarna het bijna ruzie werd, omdat we de onjuiste bestelling niet wilde betalen.

Bij het afrekening werd er door Jan 3 maal om fooi gevraagd, ondanks na wat bovenstaand gebeurde. Wanneer je hem geen fooi wilt geven, maakt hij je in je gezicht belachelijk en snouwt hij je af. Hierna zei hij: “als je geen fooi geeft, krijg je morgen geen tafel”.

Mocht je Jan wél fooi geven, en vindt hij het te weinig? Dan gooit hij het terug op tafel en loopt hij aan. Ondankbaar en onbeschoft.

Geen fijne ervaring, wanneer je je bijna mentaal moet verdedigen als dame van 20 jaar. Ik ga hier NIET meer heen
