A place to return to every year, even twice a year, but keeping it to a unique occasion.

The location is exquisite and the staff is equally welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere is of high-end, yet comfortable and cosy. The guests are equally well-suited and attuned to this atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a special birthday, wedding anniversary, or the like.

For less than 160€, a young couple can experience a wonderful 4-course meal, accompanied by exceptional juices or wines. And complimentary taste experiences have been a consistent theme for the 3 years we have visited, with a rich and original starter highlighting a usually undervalued vegetable in a creative way, and a post-dessert stage of high variety home-made sweets.

And for around 300€ you can have even 7-courses for 2 people, add a cheese-tasting as you wish, have all the wine or juice you could ask for. All complete!

The staff will suggest you great wine-pairings and juice-pairings based on the dish. And even surprise you with a beer that fits the dessert perfectly!

This place can make you love the ingredients you have disliked before. As they have proven I can like beans and brussel sprouts if properly prepared!

I cannot express genuinely enough, the experience and enjoyment of each time returning here, to be treated and richly surprised with the amount of fine care and broad flavour, consistently.

I expected a lot but only the only good to eat was the very first dish they serve. In the next courses i was dissappointed but i still enjoyed it since it was our first date again(my hubby and i) after 2 years being at home with my baby. I thought it would pass my taste, i tried my best to savor all the food since that day was very special (13th year wedding anniv and first time in 2 years date with the hubs) but really my toungue is so honest, it is not enjoyable anymore. I felt so sorry, but it was really not good, sorry. And the last dish they served just destroyed everything, and that was a complimentary from the kitchen. Again, sorry. I really tried my best but it is just not my kinda taste. The herb soup, was not so smooth when u swallow it. The main dish, the Ox cheek was tender but lack of flavor, so bland, and the sauce i was expecting a very good tasty sauce but was not. The dessert at least my hubs like it but it was not mine. Wir haben es uns gedacht! Soviel haben wir schon über die Familie Grabmer gehört, soviel Rezepte von Frau Grabmer ind der SZ gelesen und gesammelt. Endlich nach 3 Anläufen ist es soweit. Eine Stunde vorher hatten wir einen Platz. Und was wir erlebten hat alle Vorfreude übertroffen. Kleine Karte in einem eher unspektakulären Restaurant. Durchaus nett uns ansprechend. Eine kleine Karte mit besonderen Spezialitäten. Wir nahmen das 4 Gänge Valentin Menü mit Ofenkürbis Forelle Ochsenbackerl und Schokolade mit Roten Rüben Schon das Amuse Gueule war vortrefflich. Das geräucherte alleine ein Gedicht und selbstgemachtes Sauerteigbrot. Der Kürbis mit Vogerlsalat, die Forelle: EIN Gedicht. Die Ochsenbackerl noch einmal besser ( obwohl dort schon sehr sehr gut)als im Königshof in München. Und die Schokolade mit der roten Beete Eine neue Erfahrung. Die Bedienungen sehr rasch und kompetent. In der Weinauswahl hervorragend Herr Thomas. Die Weinkarte sehr gepflegt mit vielen Österr. Spitzen Weingüter. Aber auch viele sehr gute Tropfen von den besten Weinbaugebieten. Der Chrf des Hauses kümmert sich selbst darum. Aber immer und das gilt für alle Bereiche des Restaurants, nicht abgehoben nicht auf billige Shows getrimmt sonder ehrlich für das Produkt einstehend. Und DIE SYMPATHISCHE Frau Grabmer so nett und perfekt zusammen mit dem Herrn Sohn. Wir waren so begeistert , uns kam es vor als wie wenn wir zur Familie gehören würden Danke für diesen Herrlichen Sonntag. Vielleicht eine kleine Bitte, die Gerichte sind in ihrer Zusammensetzung so gelungen dass man es sich gerne merken würde. Die perfekte Bedienung wusste genau Bescheid, aber das Alter vergisst so manches, könnte man vielleicht ein kleines Kärtchen mit der Menüfolge aufstellen?
