Hoadl-Haus Axamer Lizum — Restaurant in Grinzens

I must say this is the best restaurant in ”Innsbruck”, the food is unreal good, every day they will have a different traditional Austrian dish. The service is very good, all of the staffs are friendly and very happy to help their customers, you will get a great greeting at all-time here. And you have the speechless view from the slopes and the City. During a sunny day, they will open part of the roof on the second part of the restaurant where you can enjoy your meal with an even better view. I simply love this place. Great food, I loved the chicken salad! The views are obviously astounding and an abundance of hikes are starting or ending at the Hoadl Haus.

Be advised that is isn’t very ‘young kid friendly’, no playing grounds etc. Pretty much none of the hikes are buggy or stroller friendly, except for the walk to the lake. (Not sure if you can keep walking down to the mid station)

But Hoad Haus never advertised that they have playgrounds or anything, so it doesn’t affect my rating.

Only minus one star because I did feel like the place missed a bit of atmosphere. The food is good, but once finished I would immediately leave and move on with...

Great Ski Resort restaurant. The staff is unbelievable friendly and nice. They pay attention in every moment and keep the tables clean and free. I love the possibility of bringing your own food and even warm it in the microwave.

The environment is simply breathtaking. On the top of the mountain, closed with huge glass windows that even retract when the weather is warm enough.
