Alpentaverne-Grossarl — Restaurant in Großarl

I am deeply unsatisfied with my experience here. First of all when we came to our table it was not tidy, and we had to wait for 30 minutes until we got to order our drinks, and we even had to stand up and search for a waiter and ask him to take our order. After we got our drinks we had to wait for a little more than an hour before we could order our food. Furthermore, when we sat down we asked a waiter where the menu was (since there wasn’t one at our table) and he sighed and then walked away and came back 5 minutes later with 1 menu for all 8 of us. I ate Kaiserschmarrn which was without raisins as i like it but traditional is with i think you can also ask if they can make it with, they were good but not wow. I also ate gulasch soup it was good but its definitely from the can so i wouldn't eat it again. Service was polite and quick i even got my Kaiserschmarrn in like 5 min...

Wir waren gestern anlässlich einer Bergtour zu meinem 50. Geburtstag in der Alpentaverne eingekehrt. Leckere Speisen mit guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Angebot, tagesfrische Kuchen, ordentliches Getränkeangebot und der Service war freundlich, herzlich und super fix. Der Marillenkuchen und der Apfelstrudel waren der perfekte Abschluss zum Essen. Zum Abschied gab es auch noch eine Zirbe aufs Haus zum Geburtstag für uns vier. Wir können die Alpentaverne besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder....
