Kilin Asia Japan Restaurant — Restaurant in Hall in Tirol

I used to like this restaurant a lot. Though the food and the atmosphere are good, the service is not good at all. The last time we were there and parked the car in front of the restaurant (as we always did in the past) a few days later we got a ticket from a Park Depot in Germany for over 87 € (The food was only 36€). We contacted the restaurant and they said that we should have scanned a QR code and entered a code (I did not see any sign). They also said that they get a lot of calls about this happening to other people and that there is nothing they can do and that I have to pay for this. Avoid the running sushi, go for the warm buffet. The hot conveyor wasn't hot, the cold conveyor wasn't cold - eating from either didn't inspire confidence. Wir sind seit zehn Jahren treue Gäste vom Kilin und die Chefin hat echt (Stand März 2018) mit dem Teppanyaki-Förderband echt was sattes gezaubert.

2016 haben's geschwächelt, aber das haben die ordentlich aufgeholt.

Pluspunkte:

Nichtraucherlokal Kinderfreundlich selbst gegen 20:00 ist das Essen auf dem Band frisch Austern, frische Austern bei der Theke!! Kokosbällchen in ausreichender Menge auf dem Band Touchpad am den Running Sushi-Tischen zum Bestellen (sehr vorteilhaft, die Kellner waren immer gut beschäftigt und haben einen manchmal übersehen oder vergessen) man kann auch später ab 20:00 oder 21:00 Sonderwünsche äußern, was dann auf den Bändern nachgeliefert wird, manchmal auch an den Tisch

Negativ:

manchmal wird's mit dem Parken eng, sprich man muss etwas weiter weg parken, was aber eher ein Komfortproblem als ein richtiges Manko ist.

Nein, das Kilin erfindet sich immer und immer wieder neu. Statt wie viele andere Asiaten mit All-you-can-eat auf Masse zu setzen, setzt die Chefin hier auf Qualität und raffinierten Gimmicks.
