Even though the veggie options are rather sparse, there was seasonal vegetarian options besides the typical classics. If you're eating meat you have a huge range of options and the fish dishes are offering locally caught fish as well as from the sea. The quality of the food was exceptional! I ordered a small salad 🥗 with seasonal grilled mushrooms, as aperitif, which was even better than I expected it to be! For the main dish I went with Kasnocken, which is a very traditional Austrian dish with loads of cheese 🧀. Also the coffee was outstandingly good as was the half of the dessert I had. 🤤 Since I was invited there for a belated birthday dinner, I can't quite say much about the price, but since the quality of the food was over the top and the service was perfect too I guess it is a good deal! Amazing location with an incredible view over Salzburg and the surrounding mountains. Charming old building with a great terrasse and spacious rooms. The rooms are very simple but comfortable and spotlessly clean. No traffic in the night, it is absolutely silent. The food in the restaurant is simple, but tasty and of good quality. The owners are friendly, helpful and can recommend you the best places to park for a visit of Salzburg. The breakfast is well prepared, with good coffee and high quality products. If you like a mountain style 'chalet' and accept to be a bit outside the city centre, it is a great location for a visit of Salzburg.

Unsere Hochzeit im Daxlueg war einfach perfekt – ein Tag, den wir nie vergessen werden! Von Anfang an fühlten wir uns in den besten Händen. Chef Kurt ist unglaublich herzlich, ehrlich, entgegenkommend und hat sich mit viel Engagement um jedes noch so kleine Detail gekümmert. Er war immer für uns da, hat auf uns geachtet und jeden unserer Wünsche sofort möglich gemacht.

Das gesamte Team ist ebenso engagiert, aufmerksam und freundlich. Man merkt, dass hier jeder mit Herz bei der Sache ist.

Unsere Feier war etwas ganz Besonderes: Fast alles fand draußen auf der wunderschönen Terrasse statt, mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick, der unsere Gäste begeistert hat. Auch die Band spielte im Außenbereich und sorgte für eine fantastische Stimmung.

Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight – nicht nur geschmacklich ein Traum, sondern auch wunderbar ästhetisch angerichtet. Jeder Gang war mit Liebe zubereitet, frisch, abwechslungsreich und einfach köstlich.

Die Planung im Vorfeld war reibungslos – klar strukturiert, professionell und trotzdem persönlich. Am Hochzeitstag selbst lief alles wie am Schnürchen, sodass wir uns einfach nur entspannen und den Moment genießen konnten.

Kurt und sein Team haben maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass unsere Hochzeit zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis wurde. Wir hätten uns keine schönere Location, keinen besseren Service, kein köstlicheres Essen und keine herzlichere Betreuung wünschen können.

Fazit: Wer eine traumhafte Hochzeitslocation mit perfektem Service, einmaligem Ausblick, hervorragendem Essen und einem Team sucht, das mit Herzblut dabei ist, wird im Daxlueg mehr als glücklich werden. Unsere Hochzeitsfeier war einfach rundum gelungen – ein Tag, der schöner nicht hätte...
