Gasthof-Pension Hubertus — Restaurant in Hippach

My and my hubby stayed at Hubertus December 30, 2011 to January 6, 2012. We had amazing time! It was our first trip to Austria, and we enjoyed it so much in big part due to staying in Hubertus. We were particularly impressed with the staff and the food. ||||First of, people who run the place are very organised and thoughtful. They were very attentive to all our needs, never forgot anything. They were overall very helpful, and polite, and knowledgeable. We felt completely taken care of as soon as we arrived and until we left. When we were leaving, they gave us beautiful wall calendar with photos of Zillertal valley and mountains. ||||Second, the food there is amazing! Exceeded all expectations. We did half-board, i.e. breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is usual continental breakfast with addition of homemade jellies and preserves and good breads and meats. Dinner was a choice of three pre-set menus (they also have a restaurant menu, for that you'd have to pay separately). During our stay, all three choices were different every single day! They have some excellent cooks working there, the food was prepared very very well, especially the meats. There was special New Year's Menu that we thoroughly enjoyed.||||There were a lot of families there, and the place seems to be kid-friendly. There was an area with toys in the dining room where kids could play. ||||Our room was decent size, impeccably clean and cozy. The beds and pillows were comfortable, we slept well. ||||The hotel was very nicely decorated for Christmas! All in good taste, no too much, not too little. ||||Definitely...

We stayed at Gasthof Hubertus in Laimach near Hippach in the Zillertal Valley, Austria over the five days 13th to 17th Feb 2012. This is the second time we stayed there having been there in the same week last year. The free ski bus stops outside and in ten minutes you can either be at Hornberg lift up to Mayerhofn resort or two key lifts up to Zell em Ziller Arena.||||Regina and her team at Gasthof Hubertus gave us a wonderful stay. All our rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and warm with lovely views over the valley. The food is just outstanding - every meal was lovely and all our party of 12 really enjoyed it.
