Nice to stop to eat or drink something with a wonderful view during hiking around Innsbruck! The staff is able to speak both German and English, and they also offer English menus if you need, which is something quite good for a restaurant that is far away from the city. Payment with card is also possible, which is another plus. There is also a small playground for children. I preferred to eat something light. Therefore, I ordered „Linseneintopf mit Almbrot“ (lentil stew with Alpine bread) and it was so tasty! 🤤 Next time, I want to try something more traditional when I have longer time to eat. This time, I had to hurry because I had not much time to go back to the city before the sunset.

The spinach dumplings with salad were excellent, full of flavor, nice texture, fresh vegetables and all washed down with a crisp Augustiner. But, being an American with an oversized appetite, I didn’t stop there, frankfurters and frites for a second course? Why not! As I wanted something salty, the frites perfectly sated me. Service was great, the waiter spoke perfect english, and the food/drink came out fast!
