Hotel Talblick is a very affordable family run traditional pension with ensuite bathrooms. The family Walsser have been in the area for an age. But it's the youngest members of the family that make this place work. Lisa the hostess and her brother the chef, both Gen Y, are a hard working pair. The breakfast was a delight every morning, although catering for specialist dietry needs was not available yet. They were able to assist in me self catering gluten free products. I was very impressed with their home made jams, their farm's own cow's milk and butter. ||||The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and even though the furnishings are very dated, the beds were comfortable enough and everything worked properly. The pension has a sauna, but no baths or pool. A ski drying room was available. Dinners were very nice. I tried a range of meals at the pension but the rump steak was the best and most uncomiplicated item on offer. ||||For the price paid, it was a very fair deal. The family accepted all major cards, provided reliable free wifi and had free parking. For this price, you will sacrifice on location. It's a bus/drive to the apre village and the ski lifts.
