Ballonhotel Thaller — Restaurant in Kaindorf

Although rather expensive, it is the perfect vacation place for families with little children when they want REAL relaxation. Those with small kids (especially more of them) know that a vacation is still full of hassles (packing SO many things for them; still having to worry about so many things in the hotel because of the little ones) - here ALL these are eliminated what is just possible to eliminate, so all you need to do is to relax (also active relaxation), have fun and be pampered by good food served and fully cleaned after your baby's mess ;-). ||||They have everything for your baby and your child so you do not need to pack for days (from the bibs through thermometers to strollers, baby toys, vehicles, carriers, etc). There is SO much to do for everyone that you never want to leave the hotel (we did not leave it for 5 days and spent every single minute with deep fun), for all ages (perhaps except for teenies). Any sport you like you can do it - also with your children, without having to take a mobile home worth of stuff with you: tennis, bicicle (even with child seats and children cycles available), tennis, beach volleyball, swimming, table tennis, hiking, etc, etc.||||The food is nice, too, and ample, even those unsatiable breastfeeding mothers will have enough ;-). There is also food for your baby although for them the variety is a bit constrained and you keep having to ask for the baby food (you pay for it and they have it, but somehow for them it is not so trivial that they serve food, you need to push for it all the time). ||||The rooms are SO perfect with babies - they are fully safe, so I could relax even with my 9-month old who just started crawling and pulling up. They have a very soft (but very clean) carpet where he did not hurt himself even if he fell all the time; all electric outlets are safe and there are no wires around like in ALL other hotels. Nothing to fall on a baby, nothing for them to pull down on themselves; so it was great to be able to switch off for some time when I put him on the floor to roam around, that you know you can almost never do with a baby of this age as you always need to be behind him to avoid falling and hitting himself or other trouble waiting for him everywhere - except in these really baby-friendly rooms.||||The suite (sonnseitn) is really very very roomy, with a huge balcony, even large bathroom and toilet; any furniture that makes your stay happier (such as balcony armchair when I wanted to nurse in the sun ;-), very clean even for anything-touching-and-mouthing babies and young kids.||||So really the perfect place to really relax with small kids, too (that you know you cannot really do even on a holiday with them; but here anything that is possible to eliminate as source of hassle or worry with a baby/kid is eliminated).||||I just wish that if one pays so much and it is already an "inclusive' hotel one would not need to still have to pay for all these small things (internet, drinks - that are many due to the several meals and they keep asking you to order...; billiard, minigolf, all these machines with kids dream junk ink them that is a hassle to keep resisting your kids who of course always want them, etc) - which in the end can make...

We were there because of a special price, which is the Ballonhotel Anniversary. We got free upgrade from Romantic Room into Junior Suite (children got bunkbed). First time we were happy but there's a small accident, because our children only 5&3 years old, and not good with bunkbed (dangerous), so they sleep with us in a big bed together, means 1 bed for 4 people .. :)||We love the childcare (Kids Club) there because many activities were being offered: visiting a little farm, feeding the animals, do some craft, children's table (separate from the parents, if the parents want it), free meals for children, etc.||The only negative thing we feel is a small amount of afternoon snack ! Our half board package starts with afternoon snack so thats our nightmare start. The food (snacks) were limited, so when some guests come first and emptied the foods, we got no more chance because they will not serve / fill the foods again .. :( Some cakes and bread yes, but the top salat with beef is unfortunately not. Because of this, we come sooo early for dinner, afraid of "buffet" that not all you can eat too like afternoon snack. But fortunately the dinner is really buffet .. and the refill the foods from the kitchen. But in the following days, afternoon snacks is again without refill .. so tips from me: please fill your plate on afternoon snack ! come downstair earlier !!!||For travellers without car : there're free shuttle (the owner pick you up personally!), but its means limited you cant go other place because is not in a centre...
