Wow. We stopped by for lunch on Boxing Day and even though it was super busy, the hardworking waiting staff found me and my two children a seat. The customer service was excellent, the waiter full of smiles and and laughs with perfect English. We ordered the goulash, some breads and drinks. The goulash was just superb, hearty and full of flavour and served piping hot with chunky bread to dip. They had some nice beers and the combination of chips, bread and goulash was the perfect fuel for our adventure on the mountain. We tried several times to get the attention of a waiter, told them we would like to order drinks but nothing... The other people at our table were trying to pay. This also took 15 minutes. Waiters slowly walk by with empty hands but were "too busy" to take your order. Then they made us get up to take away our sitting cushions while we still had half our drinks left. All the items were amazing, unlike other touristic places this berg restaurant offers simple yet authentic food. The food was served real quick which we didn't expect ;) We visited Kitzsteinhorn in May and were lucky to have a sunny day. Enjoyed our meals outside in the sun with an amazing view. Price is a bit on the higher side but being on a berg it's absolutely justified....
