Seidlalm — Restaurant in Kitzbühel

I love this place. You may recognize it as the farmhouse that the skiers whip by as they head to the finish line of the Hahnekamm. But during the spring and summer it is a wonderful place to take a break from your hike and enjoy some simple but amazing food. All the food comes from the farms surrounding the restaurant - right down to the honey they serve! Order carefully, however - the servings are absolutely massive! One of my favorite Hütten in Austria. The Seidlalm on the way up to Hahnenkamm the famous ski world cup race track. Takes you around 1-1,5h walking from Kitzbühel. The highlight here was the moosbeer milk you have to try it and don’t want anything else anymore ;). The Moosbeeren are hand picked around the alm and the milk comes from their own cows. Seidlalm is one of the best restaurants we had been to in Kitzbuhel. Schnitzel that I ordered was authentic and delicious. The views were breathtaking. Not only in the restaurant but also along the way climbing to it. With the sunshine and breeze flowing through your cheeks, you feel alive again in the summer. Route was quite narrow to drive. Would recommend to hike to the restaurant instead, and enjoy the stunning views...
