Gasthaus Post — Restaurant in Kleblach-Lind

We were passing through Austria and found this gem quite by chance. And the great thing is that after dinner, you can stay in your camper next to the restaurant. There is even a toilet and shower available. That's what I call service.

As for the restaurant, I can only recommend it. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cosy, and the service is great!

We will definitely be back next time. I recommend it...

Zastávka na oběd cestou z Itálie. Důvodem bylo dobré hodnocení a podnik je kousek od hlavní komunikace, má vlastní parkoviště a zahrádku (s dětským koutkem). V neděli nebylo polední menu, ale výběr ze standardního jídelního lístku (byl pouze v němčině). Ten nabízel saláty, těstovinová jídla, smažená jídla a pak masové speciality a zákusky.

Krémová zeleninová polévka dle denní nabídky (8/10). Jako hlavní Postachnitzel, což je takové Cordon Blue, ale navíc jsou uvnitř proužky papriky trikolory, což pokrm dělá lehčím a svěžím s velkou porcí hranolků (k dispozici kečup od Helmans), které byly taky super. Celkově 9/10.

K pití jablečný mošt, voda v láhvi (kohoutková, zdarma) a nakonec káva, espresso, které po těch v Itálii bylo "slabší" =)

Obsluha milá, pohotová, ochotná a domluvili jsme se Anglicky. Platba kartou...

Auf dem Weg mit dem Motorrad retour von Italien nach Hallein hat sich bisher immer das gleiche Problem gestellt, nämlich dass genau dann, wenn der Hunger am größten wird, keine Gasthäuser mehr verfügbar sind oder alle geschlossen haben. Heute sind wir dann rein zufällig auf das Gasthaus zur Post gestoßen und mit großer Begeisterung haben wir dieses zu unserem neuen kulinarischen Pflichtstopp in Kärnten auserkoren. Hier passt einfach alles: Freundlichkeit, Essen, Kaffee… Wir sind rundum zufrieden und haben selten so gute Hausmannskost gegessen. Anschließend gab's einen sehr italienischen Espresso.
