Weingut ILKERL LUF — Restaurant in Krems an der Donau

The Weinberghof is a beautiful bed&breakfast or guesthouse located inside a true farm/winery (in effect remember you can buy wine and home made jams, for instance). Well managed by very kind people, you will find nice an clean rooms named by the wines you can find in the area. The rooms are located at different floor levels, so that there is no hassle for people with mobility problems (you have to request the right floor level room,of course). Breakfast is great and you can enjoy it inside the building or in the garden. In the right period it hosts a true heuriger (so be ready to enjoy it if you can: unfortunately we cannot). It is about half an hour by feet from the center of the city of Krems, but it would worth to walk along the nice banks of Krems river, so do not miss it.||There is free wifi...

A quiet B&B in Rehberg, about 4 km outside Krems. Good quality/price ratio and being a wine producer an interesting spot for wine lovers. Good bed, good shower and good breakfast buffet, very friendly family. Free wifi.||Nice walks are possible on both sides of the river (if you do not mind walking uphill). We stayed at the Weinberghof Ilkerl B&B in early May. Let me say the accommodations were very nice, clean and complete. The hostess was very helpful and made us comfortable. Breakfast was a limited continental arrangement but adequate. ||||The B&B is located perhaps 3 km from Krems, up a small tributary of the Danube. The walk to town followed the stream.
