If you’re looking for a traditional dining experience with warm hospitality, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Tucked away off the main road, but it’s totally worth the detour.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating.

We started with a delicious Rinderbrühe soup decorated with fresh chives. For the main course, we tried the Willderpfandl, a fantastic dish featuring wild meat paired with egg pasta as a side, all served in a sizzling pan. The rich sauce, creamy texture, and a delightful accompaniments of a poached pear with marmalade created a perfect harmony of flavors.

For dessert, we were treated to a unique dish of two sweet pastas (almost like pancakes) filled with blueberries and served warm, with cold vanilla ice cream. The contrast between the warm, mildly sweet pancakes and the creamy, chilled ice cream was absolutely divine—a beautifully balanced end to our meal.

The restaurant also impressed us with its cleanliness; the toilets were spotless and conveniently located on the same floor as the dining area.

Also the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Parkings were also available within 2-3 minutes...

We stayed at the Asitzblick from the 11th June 2015, for 5 nights. We were there to do some mountain biking, and also to watch the Mountain bike world cup in Leogang.||We LOVED this place.||This is a family owned hotel, with only 9 rooms(I understand they are extending this soon)||We normally stay in 4/5 star hotels, however, we loved the very attentive service given to us by Erich, Verena and Miriam. They really did go out of their way to ensure we were well looked after.||Breakfast was lovely, continental style. The food was so good at the adjoining Dorfalm restaurant(also owned by the same family) we ate there each night.||||The rooms are immaculately clean, with service each morning. There is even a sauna area(at extra charge)||||I would thoroughly reccomend a stay at the Asitzblick during the Summer, or in the winter.||||We normally stay in 4 or 5 star hotels, however, this was a very pleasant stay, and one which we will never forget.||Already thinking of going back the same...

A very nice place with friendly staff, good service and excellent food. There are many local and Austrian dishes on the menu of which we tried two and liked! Portions are of good size, still some space for one of the lovely desserts 😉: hard to choose! The small mini golf was a great surprise for our 4 years old son, as well as the wide range of children toys. As parents, we had some good talks while the little boy was entertained too.

Our 4th visit and once again I cannot thank Erich and his family enough for looking after us. They work tirelessly to run a terrific establishment and every bit as good as any top rated hotel. Another wonderful week and already looking forward to seeing you again next year.
