Good place to enjoy local food and a great view. Very nice and cosy buscheschank. I've been there several times already and food, wine, drinks, desserts - everything was very tasty and fresh. Good price quality relation. Sometimes I just had a feeling the crew would like us to get faster with food, like asking several times if we already want to pack the rest of our food or we would like to order more? Which of course creates a bit of stress, while you still want to enjoy this ideal view. Besides this - a good place to visit, if you are on your vacation in Austria or just want to have a good...

Delicious local food and wine. Staff really friendly and informal. Genuine Styrian atmosphere and charming panorama. Tables with no reservation both inside a typical countryside house or in the amazing outside terrace with view on the fields. The prices are really low considering quantity and quality but only local food is served (no coffee or commercial soft drinks). Possibility to buy homemade products but only with cash. Strawberries...

ad Save these 11 places to eat in Austria (Graz, Styria) There’s more to traditional Austrian food than wiener schnitzel and apfelstrudel 1. Buschenschank Dokter – a family-owned farm and wine tavern since 1822 selling self-produced wines, fresh juices, pastries to brettljause – a homemade meats and cheese board as a hearty snack or cold dinner with spreads, pates and breads. 2. The largest farmers’ market in Graz in Kaiser-Joset Platz square with passionate local producers and farmers selling seasonal products from mushrooms, cured meats, wild strawberries, Styrian cheese to local fruit juices. 3. Gut Schlossberg – a shop with over 1000 products from over 100 small-scale producers around Austria with a tasting room. We had smoked artic char with trout roe, Styrian scarlet runner beans salad, a chanterelle goulash with dumplings to an Austrian dessert platter. 4. Eisperle – a multi-award-winning pure vegan ice cream parlour freshly prepared each day. 5. ‘s Fachl – a concept where small businesses are able to rent out a wooden box to sell their products at cost-effective prices. We had a tasting of Styria’s distinctive delicacy – pumpkin seed oil. Known as green gold, we dipped it in bread, pickled, as pesto to even pumpkin eggnog. 6. Gösser BrĂ€u - a well-known brewery in Graz tasting local Austrian beer 7. Standl 5 - a sustainable sausage stand with produce sourced within 50km. I dipped the wurscht in mustard and grated horseradish. 8. A day trip to the countryside to support independent businesses from sustainable enterprises such as Energieschiff Mochart 9. A father-and-son local gin producer at Pipifein 10. A husband-and-wife beekeepers Rosenzopf tasting award winning chestnut honey 11. A vegetarian dinner at Speis am Lendhafen where at least 2/3 of the seasonal produce is sourced within 50km #traveldeepergraz @visitgraz @visitregiongraz #visitgraz #grazlove #food #travel #travelreel #austria #austrianfood #austrianfoodblogger #europetravel #travelvlog #europesummer #europeansummer #centraleurope #visitaustria #austriavacations #austriagram #grazaustria #austriatrip #austriatravel #europetrip #europedestinations #europevacation #foodandtravel
