Gasthaus Antonia — Restaurant in Lofer

Wonderful place in a small village. Marina, the host, I very kind and friendly and will do anything to please the guests. Hotel is small and very personal og cozy. Rooms and appartments are completely new refurbished and are very modern. All rooms have balcony with a stunning view over the mountains. Food is good. Price is very cheap compared to what you get. High quality and super service - low prices. What´s not to like. The hotel is located 4 km from Lofer. By skiing we can recommend to park at the big parkspace by the turistinformation behind Dankl (for free), rent your skies by Herbst or Sturm, where you can put them in depot, so you dont have to carry them around. Das Gasthaus ist ziemlich unscheinbar, auf den ersten Blick kann man denken das es geschlossen ist. Die Terrasse ist relativ alt und ungemütlich da sie nur aus langweilen grauen Beton besteht. Das ist aber nicht schlimm da die Aussicht seht schön ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich allerdings auch ziemlich langsam. Die Bedienung hat sich teilweise ziemlich lange verquatscht und man hatte keine Möglichkeit zu bestellen. Der Kaiserschmarrn war erste Klasse, sehr fluffig und einfach lecker. Das "Holzfällerstake" war hingegen leider ein reinfall. Ich würde sagen es war ein Schweinebraten der extrem salzig war, vielleicht gepökelt. Die scheibe wurde jedenfalls noch mal angebraten damit sie als Holzfällerstake durch geht, schade. Fairness halber muss man erwähnen das Gericht hat auch nur 13 € gekostet. Fazit: Süßspeisen wie z.B. Marillenkuchen der noch warm war oder Kaiserschmarrn sind absolut zu empfehlen, das vermeintliche...
