Sportcafe Mallnitz — Restaurant in Mallnitz

We've found this cozy place last week after we spend a day up a nearby mountain with the cable cart.

It was a lovely place with great atmosphere. The waitress was incredibly kind and in our case even spoke Dutch! Which made ordering for us a bit easier! Incredibly friendly with to us a fun personality!

The food was delicious! Me and my mom had a trio of filled pasta with each a different flavor. I gotta say that the green spinach one was my absolute favorite! And my mom loved the pale white one that had the slight flavor of mint, making it taste really fresh! It really tasted homemade and freshly prepared! And the wait to us wasn't even that long!

My dad and brother were delighted by the schnitzel! Even now a week later they still think it's the best one they've had this vacation!

Ofcourse no meal is complete without some ice cream at the end!

Mixed experience. For the 1st visit waitress was very kind and the daily menu was absolutely delicious. Because of the good experience we visited the place again. A different waitress made faces why customers visit the restaurant. We waited at least 20 minutes and nobody asked if we want to drink/eat anything. During this time at least other 6 other people left the place due to missing service. Then we also left the place, and the neighbourhood we received immediately service. So, if you have 30 mins to get a single beer, and 2 hours to get dinner then it is recommended. In all other cases it is definitely not...

The food did not offend or dazzle, but for a Wiener schnitzel for 20 euros I would have expected much more. Judge for yourself, see the photo. I miss the cranberries and the portion is very small. The service was very slow. For me, the restaurant's rating does not...
