Gasthaus zum Schwarzen Grafen — Restaurant in Micheldorf in Oberösterreich

Old: The seasonal food is very good (e. g. around End of October / beginning of November the deer/wild-boar/etc. dishes are excellent). They also offer good liqueur (Schnaps, Edelbrände). Unfortunately sometimes the smoking area distributes the smoke around the whole restaurant. The prices are quite OK.

2018: no more smoking inside! And the owner is really...

Lovely gasthof in a village.

Went there after a excruciating 8,5 hour long hike so we were sore and beaten. Very homelike cooking, went for a local dishes with a ice cold beer, absolute fantastic combination.

Definitely have a stop for a piece of an authentic...

Schon beim Eingang wurden wir mit einem unfreundlichen Gesichtsausdruck empfangen. Als wir sagten, dass wir kein Schweinefleisch essen, gefiel ihm das ohnehin nicht. Als das Essen kam, war trotzdem Schinken darin, obwohl ich es ihm vorher gesagt hatte, dass ich KEIN Schweinefleisch esse!! Er verteidigte sich und bot uns nichts anderes an. Am Ende des Essens blieben wir noch hungrig. Der Inhaber selbst war weder gastfreundlich noch Lösungs orientiert, und obwohl wir das Essen nicht essen konnten, mussten wir es trotzdem bezahlen obwohl wir keine Alternative erhalten/angeboten bekommen haben! Wir hatten das Gefühl dass wir als „Ausländer“ nicht willkommen waren! Also wir werden niemals wieder hingehen und dieses Gasthaus absoulut nicht...
