I had a very unpleasant experience at the hotel. The owner, Martina, requested a photo of my credit card and my card's PIN number over the phone. I found this request highly unusual and refused to comply.
The hotel itself felt outdated with very small rooms. The furniture appeared old and worn, with visible signs of age throughout. The bathroom was particularly disappointing.
There was no lock on the bathroom door. The heavy, old-style door handle was a constant hazard, nearly hitting my leg on several occasions. The shower area was extremely cramped, making it difficult to avoid bumping into the shower controls. The shower cabinet door did not close properly, causing water to spill onto the floor. There was no convenient shelf or holder in shower area. The towels provided were old and rough, feeling quite worn out. The blankets also had an unpleasant smell and did not appear clean.
The breakfast and other meals offered at the hotel were overpriced. I found it more economical and enjoyable to eat at local restaurants.
Upon checking out, I received a note from Martina which was damaged, didnt checked it at that time (Considering no one does that way). However, I am not able to use it now as damaged.
Overall, my stay at the hotel was extremely...
Read moreGreat daz excursion to Natterer Boden. We went there yesterday to celebrate my dads birthday.|We called in the morning around 11 to make a reservation and got a table at 1330 which was a bit late for us but understandable considering our late call.|We arrived earlier and got great parking on site. There are many longer and shorter hikes that lead through beautiful nature. After our first small hike past the cows and sheep we discovered the pony and donkey riding stalls and loved that we got one straight away and for only 10 euros I believe its amazing that you can take a horse by yourself for a walk with your child riding it. We had the pony LISL which was super calm and didn't seem to mind the excursion. The girls loved it and us adults too.|We were back just in time for our reservation and got a beautiful table indoors.|The service was great very attentive and friendly. Although the place was packed we got our food fairly quickly and it was delicous. |The play area downstairs was ok too but we used more the outdoor playground and stayed mostly watching the goats and rabbits.|Its a great location for a nice meal and activities for kids.|We...
Read moreThis place is adorable and has awesome views on the grounds. It's a little confusing for where you go to check-in (maybe a bell or sign would help), but just ask anyone to help and they will grab someone to check you in. The rooms are cute and it's right on top of the restaurant so very convenient when you want to eat, and the food here is so good, so definitely try it! The Kartoffelsalat is the best I've ever had! Also, save room for dessert! Keep in mind that until about 10 there will be noise from the kitchen, so if you are an early sleeper just bring ear plugs. The farm is fun to go around and look/pet the animals and if you bring kids we did see them riding around on some too. The people were nice and accommodating. This place is a great spot hidden away and even if you don't stay here, I would suggest eating dinner here if you drive near this town! It's worth it! We would definitely go back...
