Gasthof Fischerwirt — Restaurant in Neumarkt in der Steiermark

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fishewirt. In front there is a big lake for fishing, at the back there is a pond for swimming. The rooms are more like appartments, where you have your own kitchen. But you can also have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, as well as lunch and/or dinner. Or you can just order take-away pizza to eat in your room. The hosts are very friendly and try to accomodate you with their charming Austrian hospitality. They have a big playground in the woods for the kids.||A beautifull waterfall can be found within 3km to 4km walking distance.||The restaurant is also famous for its giant delicious ice cream coupes ! Stayed here on a visit to the Passion Play in Oberammergau. The room was clean and spacious with wonderful views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner is delightful. The meals were varied and tasty. There is an ATM directly opposite across the road. The museum near the lake is worth a visit. A trip on the lake...
