Geier Alm — Restaurant in Neustift im Stubaital

I can highly recommend this place. The best restaurant in the area with mix of Italian and local cuisine. We have been here a few times during our vacation on the Stubaier Gletcher, tried several meals and all were just delicious. Reading some other reviews, I was surprised as we did not experience anything negative. There is no self service and you do not have to clean by yourself, cards are accepted just fine and the service is very friendly. The place is getting busy on some days, and a reservation might be needed to avoid waiting. We loved this place and can recommended it. Hope to come back next...

Walked over from the next village to eat here a couple of times during my stay. Lovely waiting staff, even on very busy nights, tasty food (pizza and lasagne, didn’t try the local dishes), came out super quickly, great prices for the area. A safe bet. On a weekend or holiday you should definitely make a reservation, though if you show up between 17:00-18:00 they can usually seat you if you promise to eat fast. The food was good, but the place was crowded with people from the camping next door, so it was noisy and loud, nobody wore a mask (including the waiters), and we didn't feel safe at all as the restaurant was completely filled.
