I tried a couple of restaurants in Schladming and its surroundings and Cafe-Restaurant Walcher was definitely the best. The food is tasty but what’s really outstanding is the atmosphere. It’s a very peaceful place, where no one is in a rush, there’s a beautiful view through the window and if it’s warm enough you can sit on a terrace and watch the nature around you. Well....the service couldn't be worse. Waiting, waiting, waiting for everything. The last drop - capuccino arrived 30 minutes after the order, together with the bill (which came also late). Owner is apologizing to everyone on the terrace stating that there is the problem with the personal, but... One would need to spend a decent effort to convince us to come again and give a second...
