Either walking or taking the cable ride up, Die Sonnenalm is absolutely worth it. A very well organised restaurant and bar with a wide range of food and drinks to choose from. The Seefeld wifi is also acceptable from there so you can organise direction etc. The little reservoir dam around the corner is a big hit. The water is crystal clear and the amazing mountain range direction Zugspitze clearly to be seen with some seating as well. Have fun...

We had our lunch there, I ordered Kaspressknodel ( fried cheese dumpling in soup) it was salty both the dumpling specially the soup! 2 of my companions tasted it too and it was salty for them too. We told it to the waiter and so unfriendly answered us that „it is normal salty because you put too much salt!“ - EVEN i DID NOT put salt on my soup! What an answered right!? Some of the foods , a bit expensive compare to the other...

Very pleasant cafe to have a coffee and cake after walking up the hill from Seefeld town (there is a chairlift as well). Excellent strudel and coffee with wonderful views. They also do more substantial food, we didn't have that but what we saw being delivered to other people looked good. Small picturesque lake just behind the cafe.
