We are lucky enough to have been the first guests this year for the very traditional Tirolean "Törggelen" (autumn evening feast). Ideal for the whole family or a group of friends, this is an evening of fine dining in the mountains around Innsbruck. The ambience is nice and cosy. The furnishing is a bit dated however.
The prices were normal and the food was good.
We tried the Tyrolean dumplings. Three different flavours come in one portion. Bacon, cheese and spinach. But you do only get the dumplings, no sauce or anything. So, they are a bit dry on their own. But still quite good. We also had the pork medallions in mushroom sauce with butter spaetzli and mixed salad, and this dish was really good.

I ordered roast pork and my daughter ordered pork medallions in a delicious mushroom sauce. My two,|generous slices of pork were wonderfully tender.
