FALCON À-la-Carte-Restaurant — Restaurant in Sölden

Originally went to the top of the mountain to the iceQ restaurant near the 007 elements which had no vegan options and took us over 30 minutes to just get drinks there. so we came down to the middle mountain and found Falcon with no pre conceived notions and we are so happy we did. We arrived at a not so busy hour and got really good seats with an amazing view. We’ve eaten at numerous Michelin star restaurants before and preferred our experience and food here compared to some others. They happily modified a few dishes to be vegan for us without stress or confusion and it’s was really good. A nice balance of a full hearty meal with amazing presentations. The Espresso martini was lit. Our waitress was very nice and knew when to come by to check in on us with us ever needing to search her. One of our best eating experiences in Austria. The price to quality ratio is unmatched to anything else we had in the area. With that being said we didn’t come as skiers or as a family with kids so maybe this is a different experience than what some people are looking for (something more casual) on the mountain but again it’s a steal for the price and quality! Fantastic views, great sun terrace, friendly team and the food is top class. Beef tartare is a personal favourite and I highly recommend it.... I would go as far as to say the best in Sölden The Äpfel Strudel is a must try for those with a sweet tooth. Madeleine and Jacky will ensure you have a lovely lunch or dinner experience at the Falcon a-la-carte restaurant. If you visit Sölden for skiing, then make sure you visit the Falcon restaurant, at least for lunch, better yet go for the Wednesday night dinner it is an...

Greatest quality/price ratio I have seen in a long time on a ski slope. Clean toilets too and very very tasty beef tartare. I cannot recommend it enough if you want to spend c. 40-50e per person and have a wonderful meal. Just make sure you ask them to have the food come out relaticely fast. First time we went they were relatively slow and unattentive but second time they were much much better. I like this place and it doesn't feel like a money grab unlike other places...
