The perfect wedding location – Yes!! You read that right! From the moment we set foot inside the Top Mountain Crosspoint, we immediately fell in love with the place and just had to have our wedding reception there. We’re both bikers, love wooden cosy homes up in the mountains, so it was our perfect spot. Then we met Basilius – who basically made it all happen for us. He had the restaurant reserved for us, he planned out each step of the reception for us (he even arranged all the music and lighting details with the DJ and Saxo directly, we really didn’t have to worry about a thing!), he pulled his best team together to support us, and they made magic happen! They organised an aperitif banquet with delicious bubbly outside at the entrance to welcome us and our guests, we then moved up to the museum visiting the most amazing motorcycles and their history while working our appetite. From the museum, we reached the restaurant, which had been beautifully decorated, off to the most amazing food (so so so delicious!), drinks, party and spectacular service from the whole team. We couldn’t have had a more amazing wedding day, everything was perfect! Most importantly, we felt absolutely cared for – Basilius, his team and the Crosspoint have customers and friends for life! Yes you finally found them! Freshly made kaiserschmarrn when you order. It takes a bit longer, but it's absolutely worth it. So ridiculously good.

The place is quite big but feels personal regardless. Friendly staff. And I love that circular roof around the terrace. Looks pretty cool.

Wir waren schon zweimal da. Immer während eines Skiurlaubs. Das Ambiente dort ist außergewöhnlich schön, das vermutlich jedem Motorradliebhaber das Herz aufgehen lässt. Die Speisen sind im Vergleich zu anderen gewöhnlichen Skihütten eher exklusiv, sehr lecker, aber auch dementsprechend teuer..

Wir haben allerdings bei beiden Malen eher schlechte Erfahrungen mit dem Personal gemacht.. einmal wollten wir von draußen nach drinnen umziehen, mussten aber noch warten bis die Gruppe vollständig war. Das hat unserer Bedienung zu lange gedauert, weshalb sie uns aufforderte zu bestellen oder das Restaurant zu verlassen.. und das, obwohl keine Hauptsaison war und es noch viele freie Tische gab.

Ein anderes Mal bekamen wir "Ärger" weil die Tochter (damals 5 Jahre) unserer bekannten einen Apfel und einen Keks gegessen hat, die nicht im Lokal gekauft wurden, obwohl alle Erwachsene ein Hauptgericht bestellt hatten. Dass mitgebrachte Speisen und Getränke nicht im Lokal verspeist werden dürfen, ist selbstverständlich.. aber bei Kindern (Snacks!) erachte ich dies persönlich als etwas zu streng..

In Anbetracht dessen was man dort an Geld lässt, würde ich mir ein bisschen mehr (Kinder-)...
