Rosso Restaurant & Bar Saalbach — Restaurant in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

We were three families of four, with children ranging in age from 13 months to 10 years, descending after two long days of travelling and the usual stressful 'first day in resort'.

We were made to feel welcome, and were sat quickly. The staff immediately arrived with colouring activities/puzzle books for the kids (3, 7,7,7 and 10 year olds), which kept them well entertained. (Even the 10 year old!)

The waitress was amazing with the children, dealing with the older children directly so they felt part of the experience. They all commented how nice the waitress was.

The food was also very good. The children mostly had pizza from the kids menu, but they all disappeared (the pizzas, not the children!). The ribs I had were delicious, but the pasta dishes in particular were excellent.

The desserts were also delicious. The younger children were happy with the ice cream on offer, but the older ones tried the chocolate cake, which they looked very happy eating! The grown ups largely had the cheesecake, which finished off a lovely evening.

I really cannot praise the staff enough. Really amongst the best, if not the very best service I have ever received.

Nice alternative for busy restaurants in town. I especially recommend spare ribs but everything was tasty and cooked with love :) they have just a few tables so you better book in advance (on the same day...
