Weingut Buschenschank Gerngroß — Restaurant in Sankt Andrä-Höch

If you haven’t: visit a winery in the hills of the Styrian region in Austria. STUNNING. It’s a trek of a drive to get up to these areas but it is so worth the car sickness.

This vineyard is quaint and gorgeous. It has a cute indoor space as well as courtyard seating with allll the views. We sat outside, of course, and even with a windy evening it was so lovely.

Though we didn’t try the actual wine, we had their homemade juices which were delightful. That, paired with a fresh mediterranean style salad = the most perfect evening.

We stayed a couple hours as it was so nice just to sit, enjoy the view and chat. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful, especially for myself as a foreigner and it being my 2nd day ever overseas, she was so patient and kind to help.

Sehr nette Buschenschank mit wundervoller Aussicht von der Terasse auf die Theresienkapelle. Ich war schon mehrmals dort und das Essen war jedesmal sehr sehr gut. Bedienung sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Der Hauseigene Wein ist auch sehr zum empfehlen. Alles in allem ein must see und ich komme immer wieder gerne her. Ein wirklich ausgezeichneter Buschenschank, geführt als Familienbetrieb und seit Jahrzehnten bekannt für hervorrragende Weine und eine herzhafte Buschenschankjause. Immer wieder gibt es s Schmankerl und Überraschungen die sich nicht auf der Speisekarte finden.
