Wagner Hütte — Restaurant in Sankt Anton am Arlberg

This would be a nice Hütte if the hosts cared about the food they serve. It has a nice location in beautiful Verwall and the house has been recently renovated providing now a light and open yet cozy atmosphere. Also the service staff is friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, when it comes to the food, things are not as bright. We had beef soup that tasted like instant soup and was served too cold, even after asking to warm it up. The pancakes were precooked as well and came right from the microwave. The place used to serve Kaiserschmarrn, but don't be mislead by the posted pictures, they don't offer this dish anymore. The only positive thing I can report about the kitchen is that they are fast. Go there if you need shelter from the rain or you don't care about what you eat. Avoid if you expect to get a taste...

Magical place in so peaceful neighborhood. You can fell lucky if there is not that much busy! In case of “bad” weather I just feel that’s the place to go! The restaurant is really calm many free tables no reservation needed... Anyway it’s a spot of off piste trail end from where you can get back to St.Anton with bus nr6. You can come here with country ski as well and joy the amazing valley. If you planning to walk here in winter can be bit disturbed by bus drive because t narrow street is just not wide enough to walk in side... Have a good time in...
