Landgasthof Spitzerwirt — Restaurant in Sankt Georgen im Attergau

We stayed overnight at this Landgasthof during our trip to Maria Alm in January 2019.||||The Gasthof is located at a quiet street and looks very nice. The welcome and check-in were very swift and friendly.||||Our room was spacious, had a good bathroom and a separate toilet. Beds weer of a very good quality and we slept very well.||||The food we had, Wiener Schnitzel for the both of us, were very tasty and nicely presented. The associated salad bar had a good choice and all tasted nice as well.||||As we were the only guests that night (low season and very bad weather) we received an extensive list of which we could make our choice for the breakfast.||Very nice idea as it reduces the risk preparing too much food that will not be used!!||The food we ordered for breakfast was very nice and fresh, a good start of the days before our last few hours on snowy roads to our final destination.||||Given the heavy snowfaal during the night the owner's son started cleaning the parking so we could leave without any problem.||||The WIFI was of a very good quality!||||A good choice we made and in case we again go to Maria Alm we will for sure think of staying overnight at this Landgasthof.||||Definitely...

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Although it is a couple of kilometres out of town, the staff were particularly friendly and the room (corner) was a bit dated but a larger then some we have come across. The separate toilet is good. Room was a bit stuffy as the mozzies ensured the windows had to remain closed at night. Good selection of meals for dinner and breakfast.
