Restaurant s´Pfandl Pitztal — Restaurant in Sankt Leonhard im Pitztal

Ordered 3 kaiserschmarn as dessert. Didn't want alcoholic drinks to go with the dessert so ordered 4X tap water. Last time I checked tap water is FREE. When we received the bill there was an unexpected charge for €6... A glass of tap water (which runs freely in the Alps) apparently costs €1?! However, we were charged €6 euro because of 2 refills... When questioning the charge. It was explained that the glasses need to be washed, hence the €1 charge - which would almost make sense but then how can you charge another euro for a refill of the same glass?! Unacceptable. In a country where water is so abundantly available. You cannot charge people for deciding not to order alcohol. Even worse, you cannot keep it a secret until the bill arrives.

We have been coming to Pitztal for the last 6 years and the s’Pfandl in Tieflehn is by far our favourite restaurant. The food is delicious, including the kids meals. Irmgard, Erwin, Sladi & Mario make us feel at home and amongst friends. We’ll be back.

This place was AMAZING! Prices were very good for the food that we got! Came back 2 times because the food was absolutly amazing, do not litsen to the 1 star revieuws! Food is so so sooo good! Tought about ordering a second plate 🤭. I really recommand this place because of the good food but also for the very friendly staff and authentic atmosphere. 10/10...
