Pros: Kind reception, very pleasing atmosphere, cost-effective lunch buffet, some friendly servers
Cons: Significant stomach upset, being scolded by one server with a look of real disdain for not eating the squidgy nigiri rice (despite having eaten the fish on top—there was no sashimi option available), trying to politely tell her that I don't speak German and her storming off.
If the restaurant seeks to prevent all food waste on the part of its customers through its buffet format, it can at least be kind to its customers as it enforces this. That's all I would suggest—kindness. You never know where someone is coming from in life. Instead, one of my first interactions with anyone in Austria was being scolded here, with a finger in my face.
This restaurant definitely appears to be thriving, though! And that's good—it's important to support minority-owned businesses. I wish it the best, even with the challenging experience I had. It appears to be the best thing going on in this...
Read moreIf you are looking for nice Asian restaurant this is your spot. Location looks far from city center but you can come just with one bus (line 32) from Jakomini platz or Don-Bosco. In date 11.2024, dinner menu is €23,90 plus drinks you could expect to spend €25 to €35 per person and leave very happy with the quality of the food. They have legitimate buffet with lots of options. I didn’t add lots of food image cause they have different options always. They have always fresh meat, fish and vegetables. I strongly advise to take menu with Teppanyaki option. You will able to select any kind of meat and vegan options you like. From Beef to Kangaroo meat and different types of mushrooms which I really liked. They have long list of drinks you can enjoy. I advise this place for couples, families and also meet out days. Also like to add they have ice cream bar and deserts in...
Read moreThe building is stunning, the food is amazing! I only have a small problem with the waitress. We have a 1,5 and a 3 years old child and she made us to pay 1 complete menu for the 2 kids together. We have never experienced things like this. I don't know if this is the house rule or she had a bad day, but come on, it's not fair. When I told her she said if they were eating we have to pay for them. As soon as they let it know before we start to eat it's OK. If it's written anywhere, it's OK again. But none happened. I feel sorry because the food was really nice and we were ready to be their...
