We had lunch twice there. First time we arrived before 12:00 without a reservation, and eventually they offered us places at a big table (all the smaller tables were reserved). The place is new and the design is very good, modern and panoramic. The service was super fast, everybody spoke English quite well, and the food was very good (onion soup with a big cheesy breaddumpling, one of the best I have eaten, and salmon filet, also fine). Prices are a little higher, but not too cheeky. We had only 1 problem with the service: the waitress was hurrying us and constantly asking if we want anything more, messaging that if we dont spend any more, then we should leave. We made a reservation for the next day and asked if I can get a table with a view and the clerk was a bit rude about it when I told him we will be 3. Anyway, next day we went in and sit at a good table. I was on the point to do the self-ckeckin via myvisitpass as the table said in front of the restaurant, but a waiter told me to please check in at the front-desk manager. He told me we have to leave the table and was very hesitant to give us another one, but eventually, we got one with some(!) view. This time a younger waitress hurried us constantly, telling us to order because if we dont then we will have to wait more... Needless to say, even though we took our time to order, the food was in front of us 2 minutes later. This time the beef carpaccio was too well-done and the avocado salad with shrimp was full of salty, vinegary sauce. This was so dominant that I could not taste anything else. I was disappointed :( All in all, I have mixed feelings. This is a fancy-looking new restaurant with a good view, fast, precise and well-spoken staff, good food compositions, but the service makes me really wonder if I am wanted to have a good time and come back, or only to leave money there as fast as possible and get out. Also, the carpaccio should be rethinked (carpaccio is originally raw), and also the sauce of the avocado salad (too much, too dominant!). Another note to the restaurant: Please be more customer-friendly and sort out this...
Read moreA stunning view from inside, the food is great, everything you would expect and a bit more. I highly recommend the chocolate cake with vannila ice cream. Although I have two complaints. First there is no steam dumplings which is a must for a place oriented towards skiers. For second, the place is set up so that they serve you as fast as possible and then throw you out. I don't blame them because skiing is seasonal, but definitely a decrease in...
