This place has great staff that was willing to check in me and my boyfriend after reception hours. Plus everybody was trying to speak English, even though it wasn't perfect, for the customers' sake. I sincerely appreciate the effort. Our room was extremely clean with a nice smell of freshly washed bed sheets. And I loved the view from the balcony - there were green fields with a lot of cows. Very calming. The breakfast was great, but I wasn't sure what's the part of it and what costs extra, as nobody told us more information about that. Maybe it was the language barrier or general breakfast time chaos...

The meal I had was superb. Since there were just a few guests, I was able to speak with the chef afterwards who is very friendly and obviously very skilled. I had a salad with goat's cheese wrapped in Speck, an asparagus soup, a very tender venison main course and a chocolate mousse. Everything was presented well by a delightful staff who helped me with my halting German speaking. An excellent remote discovery! Service is excellent and the hotel is extremely quiet. We had a wonderful room with a balcony, with a view on the mountain. The food is delicious and healthy, the restaurant is bio. You can even see the cook passing by with herbs, vegetables or flowers from the garden.
