Genussufer — Restaurant in Unterach am Attersee

Cannot judge for the food, because we were treated cold and borderline rude for absolutely no reason. We were a group of 6 girls coming from the beach, asked to get seated, no will to look for a table or give an estimate of waiting time, sat ourselves at a free table only to get sent off bc the table was reserved, we asked for another one and were told again to look ourselves. No smiles, no kindness, no wish to be polite or accomodating. We saw another empty table but decided to go elsewhere at this point. When I calmly remarked to the waiter that this was not a polite way of handling things he literally ignored me twice (very rude).

We don’t have to get a seat at all costs on a busy day, of course, but this is not the way to work in...

A very cozy place with a stunning view of the lake. I often come here and have tried many dishes. The only disappointment was the burger, which had overcooked patties. However, everything else is excellent. I particularly enjoy the dishes with local fish. The staff are attentive and friendly, the wine list is decent.

This doesn't look like a typical restaurant “with food”, it's a place where the chef brings his perspective to each recipe and you can feel it. Unterach really needed a spot like this.

Seems like the place is only friendly for germans. All other nations have to wait, till all germans are served. Even ones who come later. No menu in English. You need to as several Times to place the order. Staff is friendly. They just serve germans with priority. Also germans receive their orders first, with priority. Quite poor experience.
