Panoramagasthof Druckerhof — Restaurant in Unterach am Attersee

Fantastic location with amazing views over lake Attersee. Unfortunately, the potatoes that came with the Schnitzel were totally undercooked and hard. They were replaced with French fries, which arrived after we finished the Schnitzel itself. We ordered dessert which by the time of writing this review has still not arrived - we’ve been waiting for 45 mins already and no dessert in sight.

It’s a very unfortunate and sad experience. But hey, the views are nice…

(to be clear - the waiters are polite and are working hard - they have a huge area to cover - but the restaurant is completely...

This is the most beautiful location with a wonderful view from the terrace. We arrived just before 5pm without a booking but were given a table for two at the rear of the terrace, still a beautiful view but if you want one of the front tables you probably need to book.

They also serve wonderful food. We had trout fillets with vegetables. Such a variety of vegetables and salad and all so beautifully prepared, cooked and served. Delicious apfel strudel as well. Very glad we made the effort to drive...

Die Küche des Panoramagasthofes ruht sich sichtlich auf dem ausgezeichneten Standort aus. Wir waren zu sechst vorort. Es wurde ein Tisch ganz vorne auf der Terrasse reserviert und auch so bestätigt. Als wir ankamen, war vorne ein Tisch frei, bekammen aber einen, direkt an der Hausmauer. Nach Nachfragen, warum wir jetzt diesen und nicht den anderen Tisch bekommen, kam nur die Antwort, "nein, es ist sonst nichts frei und es steht auch nicht bei der Reservierung dabei, dass wir vorne reserviert hätten." Da waren wir schon einmal etwas enttäuscht. Wir bestellten lauter verschiedene Gerichte – allesamt geschmacklos. Den Hauptspeisensalat gab es mit Fleisch und vegetarisch – angepriesen wird der Salat gemischt mit Avocado und Tomaten – naja, je eine Cocktailtomate und eine viertel Avocado sagt schon alles, Dressing war ebenso fad und tRocken. Bei der vegetarischen Version gab es keine Alternative zum Fleisch – es war einfach ein grüner Eisbergsalat mit einer Tomate und dem Stück Avocado... Der Fisch war kam einfach ungewürzt, sowie auch die beiliegenden Kartoffeln – sehr schade um den Fisch. Die Anderen Gerichte waren auch eher solala und haben niemanden vom Hocker gehauen.

Sehr schade, man könnte definitiv mehr herausholen – aber man kann sich natürlich auch weiterhin auf dem Tourismus ausruhen, wo dann die Touristen eh nie wieder kommen, weils...
