Around the corner from the school you can rent your gear, you can pre rent it online to get a discount and not wait in the queue when you pop in. They offer a depot to leave your stuff if need be. You get a ski pass and enjoy all the gondolas 🚡 and the ski lifts. Gondolas are beautiful, they help you get up in no time while enjoying the stunning views. Blissfully beautiful and peaceful when the lift shuts at 5pm and the walkers have descended. Can’t understand why visitors descend and don’t stay the night, perhaps I should be keeping this a secret. It’s completely different when the lift opens again and people return after 9am the next day! We are on half board: breakfast and especially the evening meals are excellent. The rooms are large, comfortable and exceptionally clean, they all have balconies with amazing views. You have to love cow/goat bells, although they do go quiet after dark.
