Häferl — Restaurant in Zell am See

When I saw the overall poor rating, I was worried. Then I noticed most bad reviews are from 3-5 years ago. I had a good experience. The staff were very friendly. During lunch, the place was full, and food takes around 30min to come. At other times, all orders came within 5 minutes. I was there several times, as my kids were at ski school. What a afwul place. Went there last year in the winter, but my review didn’t get posted. We wanted to play a small card game while drinking beer with 12 people, but we weren’t allowed. Why not?! They said they are afraid we come back the next day to play again. Because no one would like us to drink beer twice? The day before we couldn’t order anything and eventually just left angry empty handed. 2 days of not great service. Maybe good idea to close the thing and give it to someone who actually likes having a cafe....

Poor venue. We came in late in the afternoon. The Waiter had difficulties getting the simple order right. He was clearly annoyed. The food was below average, in contrast to the price. We payed by card but had to pay one drink cash (tax?!). We repeatedly had to ask to bring the Sauce which was forgotten with one of the Servings. Tip; avoid this place and get to one of the proper restaurants...
