Couldn’t be worse. We were prompted to select our preferred check-out time when we booked through their website. I was able to select “11:59pm - free of charge.” This seemed like an unusual but excellent feature as our plane leaves at 4:20am, so we will go over to the airport when we leave in the middle of the night.
When we arrived we were informed that check-out time is 12pm no matter what, despite the fact that my booking confirmation CLEARLY states my selected check-in and check-out times for the price we were quoted. We planned our stay around this. We were then told we would have to pay 50% extra to stay until 6pm or pay the full room rate to stay until midnight. There was ZERO compromise offered. They blamed whoever makes their website, telling us they had lots of complaints about this. They also said that because we booked so early they are unable to change the reservation. This means they had months to tell us that this check-out was an error and would be an additional charge, and simply failed to? We were told nothing could be done because the hotel is fully booked, but they have no problem extending our stay if we pay. It is all about money. I would have at least appreciated an offer to comp the breakfast.
To add insult to injury we had a very hard time figuring out which restaurants were open and what was being served. When we finally went to the cafe I tried to order a lemonade and was told they couldn’t do any of the flavours they had listed, and then told “maybe strawberry.” We ordered that, a beer, a 3 cheese platter, and qutab. We waited over an hour before going to the bar to see what was happening, at which point she said “oh I’ll make it.” The drinks come 10 minutes later and the food shortly after that. The cheese platter is missing 2/3 cheeses and when we point that out we’re told “oh sorry they’re out.” We’re now ordering the remainder of our dinner in from a delivery service.

The modern and clean ambiance, convenient service, and optional flexible check-in and check-out policies appealed to my preferences. The spacious rooms, well-stocked bathroom essentials, plush robes, and excellent modern gym contributed to a comfortable stay. Despite being in close proximity to the airport, the hotel maintained a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The exceptional Azerbaijani hospitality made me feel like an awaited guest, and the hotel's value for money was evident.
