In Freeport on vacation and our boat caption recommended Out da Sea. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service, and were in no rush so we sat back enjoying cocktails and music while waiting for our food. When the meal arrived, we were ready to dig in right away... Our choices... A whole fried snapper with plantains and potato salad and stone crab claws in a lemon garlic sauce with garlic bread to dip in all of the delicious flavor. 🤌 it was on point. The snapper was crunchy on the outside and flaky and tender on the inside. The potato salad was one of the best I've ever had and the plantains were...ok. Not the highlight of the meal but not awful. The stone crab claws were super flavorful and the grilled garlic bread was perfect for sopping up all of the goodness. Waitress was attentive and nice. Prices were reasonable. Great local spot and definitely recommend to anyone visiting the island!

I had the pleasure of eating here Sunday morning. Originally we went to a closer restaurant, but they did not have any fish available. Went here as the second option. I was not disappointed. I got the lobster and grits. My friends got shrimp & grits and the stew fish. The service was pretty fast, with the food being delivered hot! I was skeptical at first, most shrimp/lobster & grits I've had previously usual come with the traditional tomato based sauce. HOWEVER, that cream sauce is THE PLUG. First taste, both my friend and I gave each other THAT LOOK... let's just say the food did not last long. Would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

This place is not cleanly AT ALL. I ordered a sheep tongue souse from here and when I started eating there was a dead fly in my food. One time before there was a fly wrapped in the tissue holding my spoon, I let that one slide. But it's clear now after the souse that they do not keep the cooking area clean at all.

This place was recommended by our tour guide. This was definitely a BAD experience. The server treated us as though we were inconveniencing her in her very own home. The service was painfully slow and had a side of cranky. The food was decent not bad but not as good as other I have had. When we finished and paid our $94 check we asked the bartender if she could call a cab for us to go back to our hotel ( again when we asked the tour guide about getting “home” he said have the server or bartender call one for you…) our server said she knew no cab because she was from another island and the bartender suggested we ask a fellow patron whom I had seen do about four shots while we were eating dinner , soo nope. Our hotel was 1.5 miles away according to google maps eat out on foot about 3/4 a mile into our trek we were picked up by Stevie a crane operator ❤️ (May he remain safe and in good health for the rest of his days✊🏾✨) and deposited safely...

My wife clearly ordered a 1/2 pound of crab for lunch and I ordered a grilled fish burger. It took at least 45 minutes to receive the food. The place wasn't busy, maybe 3 tables, but they supposedly had many orders. We finally get served. The food was very good. Hence 5 stars for food. When we finished we got the bill. It charged $36 instead of $25 for the crab. $36 isn't even on the menu. My wife substituted potato wedges for the side and we still got charged extra for the potato wedges although the waitress said it was an equal substitute. It took probably 20 minutes to argue to no avail with the staff and owner who said they are reputable. So we were there 90 minutes. We paid the total to just get out of that place and will dispute it with our credit card company. The other reviewer said he got ripped off when he ordered crab and we did too. Stay away is...
