The Goombay Smash does live up to the hype. A not-too-sweet concoction containing rum, pineapple and has a hint of coconut. Very refreshing and delicious!

Pizza on Thursday nights! Three generations of women have run this special place, all with big hearts. A lot of people go there to try the original goombay smash and miss out on their great food. I've recently enjoyed grilled fish dinner, and last night had a delicious pizza delivered to my boat at a marina. It was a tasty treat! Pizza's only on Thursdays, $20 for a 12" pizza plus $3 for delivery fee. Their mediterranean pizza had fresh veggies and...

Miss Emily's Blue Bee is now run by her daughter Violet. Emily invented the Goombay Smash which is now the national drink of the Bahamas. You haven't had a real Goombay til you've had one at the Blue Bee! Violet is the warmest, most welcoming, sweetest new friend. The food is fabulous. I NEVER eat fish, but I tried the blackened grouper and it was delicious! Worth a trip over the ferry if you are not staying on...

Home of the original Goombay Smash and it is well worth the visit. Food was delicious and Ms. Valerie was wonderful to visit with. We were able to enjoy our drinks and watch our college age kids play basketball and football. Burgers were great. We loved all of our food. Highly recommend visiting and getting to...
