Hard to find but it’s inside of a parking lot across from the airport and to the side. The lady who runs this place is very nice. We ordered the jerk chicken and steamed fish plates and they were fresh, flavorful, homey, and authentic! My jerk chicken had some kick and she also give you a jar of her homemade spicy vinaigrette sauce — wow! It’s like “Bahamaian Fish Sauce.” Good on everything. Must try her coleslaw too. Way better than the fast food chains inside the airport. Come here if you have some time, it’s about a 15 mins walk from the check in counters. Best kept secret kind of place and off the...

I tried the sausage breakfast sandwich on homemade coconut bread. It was amazing! The sandwich plus a bottled soda cost only $8 - probably the most inexpensive meal I've had in the Bahamas. The woman working behind the counter was so friendly and sweet. She encouraged us to sit under the awning and enjoy the beautiful day while we ate our food (despite my husband having purchased food from a different vendor). We will be making a beeline for this place anytime we land in Nassau! It's a really short walk from the terminal (like 2 min) that was easy even with...

It is one of the best local foods in Bahamas. The location is closed to the Lynden International Airport. We got 2 combo (one with chicken jerk and other with pork) + one diet coke and potato cake. Their meat was so tender, and you can tell their coleslaw is made fresh every day. It cost us only $30 for everything. (Cheapest & most delicious in this trip) I saw a lot of customers who worked in Airport eat here and they also offer a small option of food for $7.50. The owner is...

I brought 6 American boy scouts with me to learn and enjoy some local dishes before our flight. We tried fish, chicken sousse, ribs, rice and bread. While we sat there, the cook and owner was so friendly, bringing out free johnny cake and a couple goombay punches. What great food and friendly service. We knew it was a great place to eat when we noticed all the airport staff eating here. And for dessert, she gave us homemade coconut tart, on the house! What a great restaurant!
