Lime@Home — Restaurant in New Providence

As a Trini, this place is underwhelming to say the least. It’s a small business and I understand that but this is the truth.

Firstly, the service was terrible. The one girl taking the order looked like she did not want to be there, let alone get up to retrieve the food from the kitchen. I ordered a mutton roti and doubles. The only decent thing about the doubles was the barra, it was soft and had an okay taste. The channa and toppings were terrible. I had to convince my Bahamian boyfriend that that was not how it should taste. 2/10

The roti took about 20mins to come out and when we got it, it was cold. I had to send it back to be warmed. Additionally, I didn’t want to buy too much food in case it didn’t taste good so my bf and I shared the roti. I asked for a knife to cut it and the girl responded with “we don’t have that.”

The roti lacked flavor and the mutton was tough. I give it a 4/10.

I commend them for trying but they need to work on their customer service and the recipes. This is not how authentic trini...

Had an amazing brunch here! We had Curry Shrimp, curry chicken, rice and peas, corn, and buss up shut (roti). All if it was amazing, Trini curry and spices. The staff here was super amazing. Andrea was super cool, super friendly and very welcoming. We enjoyed her company while eating there. We enjoyed her company. We also met the owner who spent a bit of time talking to us, and hanging out with us. We felt very welcomed and at home with her. I felt like family by the end of our chat. She’s super amazing so definitely support her business! The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, and the people are even better! Also they’re open when they say they are, very professional. Not to mention, the food comes out super fresh and super hot! I really can’t say enough great things...

Was excited to try Lime @ Home today for the first time but was more than disappointed.

Firstly, I was greeted by what had to be the least hospitable person. Her attitude was rude, and completely unwelcoming. She obviously was either the owner or relative to the owner.

Secondly, the two dishes ordered, The curry chicken, and oxtail were both horrible — tasted as if the restaurant was rationing all seasonings.
