We have been coming to AlAbraaj since it first opened. We were regulars at the Adliya branch, (literally in our backyard), occassionally frquenting Sehla when it opened. Now we go occassionaly to Budaiya, for pickup to Adliya & recently adopted Muharraq (the furtherest) as our new fav. The restaurant has its own ambience. Its nice, with a great vibe & delicious food but the prices are most improportionate. The managers & other senior staff like Mr. Abbas, Mr. Afroz are wonderful & most welcoming & look after us well ( hence we now like to just go to that branch) Some of the waiter boys are crude & need some moulding as it boils down to VERY casual dining. The Hoummos & Moutabel portions are getting smaller & smaller & the prices are going higher which is most unfair. It would not be OK to change both price & quantity provided it is in the same ratio. The 'UmmAli' is THE BEST IN BAHRAIN.The 'Balloon bread' is the latest addition to their breads & it truly is to die for. We love it. The other bread now seems to be like the abandoned child...! The shawarmas are delicious but again, their size keeps on shrinking! Please Al Abraaj, although we are so glad that you revamped the menu, you need to keep a check on your prices & portions. The washrooms need some attention & freshning up. They give the feel of public toilets. Just like you judge a person's hygiene by looking at their feet, you judge a home or restaurant from the standard of...

Visited today and because of Service, overall experience very bad. The food was really delicious - really impressed with the quality and taste.
However, the service was a major letdown. Our server seemed completely in a not interested mood, unattentive and very arrogant, which was really frustrating.
The atmosphere was just okay - nothing special.
Overall, if it's a busy time like Eid, don't visit.
Update: Same Day
Based on the response below from owner: I have shared further details on WhatsApp and want to see how they will improve and how they take the feedback! As service was a disaster worth highlighting main course served 50/50 with 15 mins gap and upon follow up / server's attitude experience was shared above.
Update: 22-Apr-25 Just to update, after my review on 2-Apr-25 - Restaurant admin replied very positively here infront of the audience that they care alot - shared Whatsapp details for me to share more details, etc.
The same were shared and now after 20 days, no one even bothered to reply or acknowledge.
Now this is the main reason of my pathetic experience from the restaurant. When owner don't care for its customer, why would the employees will care.
So everyone be very sure before going there with family and celebrating some quality time...

I had high expectations when visiting Al-Abraj (Muharraq Branch) on Eid, as my wife and I had dined here 10 years ago after our marriage. We wanted to relive those cherished memories, but unfortunately, our experience this time was utterly disappointing.
The biggest issue was the service, which was shockingly poor. The waiters, Saleem and Mohsin, were extremely unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. They were unresponsive, rude, and arrogant when we asked for assistance. Instead of serving with a welcoming attitude, they made us feel like we were inconveniencing them.
To make things worse, our food was served in two separate batches—half of it arrived first, and the rest came 15 minutes later only after we kept asking for it. This completely ruined our dining experience. While the food itself was just okay, the service made it unenjoyable.
Overall, this visit was a huge disappointment, especially considering our past memories of this place. Al-Abraj management seriously needs to train their staff on customer service because such behavior is unacceptable in a restaurant of this level.
I do not recommend this branch unless they improve their...
