I will start this off by emphasizing the point that everyone has different preferences for food. To explain, my family went with me, and while three of us greatly loved the food, two couldn't finish it at all. I will start off by mentioning the service, the servers were very patient throughout our long enquiry about what food is what, what they contain and etc. The service depends on what you order, some food is readily available as other people ordered them before, others took up to an hour as they cooked from scratch. The atmosphere is lovely, although my complaint is with how cramped the space can be, hope they can expand the spot in the future. About the food, we ordered rice, Mundi (7/10), bamboo shoot chicken (11/10), dim hebang (10/10), dheki shak (9/10), kakra fry (10/10), holud phul mach bhorta (4/10). Regarding the last item, we didn't know the taste would be so strong, couldn't get through eating it at all. From my understanding, the menu changes every day, which is a small quirk I love.

First of all, their food is very tasty and a bit different then what we usually eat. Behavior of the staffs are really good and atmosphere is nice. The food price is high but the taste of the food makes up for it. Also you can share the items between 2 or 3 persons easily. We tried their Hebaang Special Duck (450 Tk), Loitta Shutki Fry (350 Tk), Chicken Morich Vorta (200 Tk, which was very very spicy, you can't finish it alone), Hebaang Special Dal (120 Tk), and Rozela Tea (50). Every one of the items were great including the Rice.

RATS 🐀 !!! Expensive! Very very small portions. Chicken-Morich vorta barely had any chickens but it was 200 taka. The duck was not bad but not worth 450. And you have to buy rice per person and can't share, which is weird and screams Scam. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY- Saw two rats on the ceiling, above our sitting position. Washroom was semi dirty. The stuffs were nice tho. DO NOT recommend. Go at your own risk.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Before visiting, I called the restaurant to inquire about their menu and was assured certain items were available. However, upon arrival, I was told several dishes were not available — a frustrating contradiction.

We went ahead and ordered food, but it was a huge letdown. The rice was hard and cold, and the curries were also served stone cold. To make it worse, there was no salad provided to accompany the meal.

The atmosphere was unbearable. The restaurant had a strong, unpleasant smell. There were three fans — only one was working properly, one was too small to be effective, and the third was broken. Although the AC was on, it only cooled the area directly in front of it, leaving the rest of the space hot and stuffy.

Despite all this, we forced ourselves to eat part of the meal since we had already ordered. My infant was extremely uncomfortable and kept crying due to the poor ambiance.

We had high expectations based on online reviews, but it turned out to be completely overrated. I suspect paid reviews contributed to the misleading hype.

Not recommended for anyone who values cleanliness and a comfortable dining environment. Unless you’re okay with eating in a stinky, poorly maintained place — avoid...

I tried - Rice: 40tk Hebaang special duck: 280tk Sutki Hebaang: 180tk Chicken Spicy Vorta(too spicy): 80tk Tetul Juice: 60tk Water: 15tk Total: 655tk (shared by two person, only cash acceptable)

My Ratings - Food : 8/10 Place : 8/10 Price: 8/10

The sole difference is, you will find a small piece of Khagrachori and its traditional food with the local hospitality. Chef, owner, waiter all are from the hill sides. Items are freshly served, with no hidden charges. People who want to go tracking in the hill side and want to get used to with the food, surely can try this restaurant( just kidding 😀). You can also find some uncommon dishes like Frog🐸 vuna, Snail 🐌, Crab đŸĻ€ and some other sea foods. Also they have some dried fish dishes, chicken, ducks. Another speciality is in the name. The way momo is cooked, through the vape of hot water, some major dishes in Hebaang are also cooked in the similar way. Look for the foods with the word hebaang. Bowls will be filled as long you are hungry.

Highly recommend (for those who are looking for different taste in...
