Kalai ruti is a traditional food of Northern part of Bangladesh specially from the district name Chapainawabganj. But the people of Rajshahi, Naogaon, Natore also like this food very much. Now some people are trying to introduce this food in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It's a hand made food. You can enjoy this food with morich vorta, begun vorta, beef etc. If you want to enjoy this food , you have to wait for a while because it takes time to ready. There are few shops in Dhaka who provide this traditional food but in my opinion "Kalai rutir adda" is the best. The food is awesome and price is moderate. I think it would be great if they provide air condition facility but they don't. Lots of people like to eat this food. So they need to increase their man power. Kalai ruti is a famous food in Rajshahi division, especially in the Rajshahi district. This was the first time I tried this item with Beef Bot, Beef Bhuna and Duck Curry from here. I brought parcel at home. First let me come to the Kalai ruti. My home is 10 minutes away from this restaurant, so I don't think in the meantime the Kalai ruti should be as hard as a rock as it was. I couldn't eat it full because my fingers were hurting while breaking the Ruti.
