Beefbar — Restaurant in Monaco

My experience at Beefbar Monte Carlo was nothing short of extraordinary. It's possibly the best specialty beef restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with an atmosphere of sophistication and culinary excellence.

For starters, I indulged in the Beef Gyoza with Jalapeño Sauce, a tantalizing dish that perfectly combined the rich flavor of beef with a spicy kick. The jalapeño sauce added an extra layer of depth, elevating the dish to new heights.

For the main course, I opted for the Filet Mignon, a classic choice that did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, each bite was tender and succulent, bursting with flavor. The accompanying Beefbar Signature Sauce complemented the meat beautifully, adding a delicious richness that enhanced the overall dining experience.

To top off the meal, I couldn't resist trying the Super Popular "Marbled Chocolate Bar" for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal, with the rich, decadent chocolate melting in my mouth and leaving me completely satisfied.

Throughout my dining experience, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every aspect of my meal was perfect. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.

Overall, my time at Beefbar Monte Carlo exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere has left a lasting impression on me. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu, knowing that each visit is sure to be a culinary adventure.

The only downside side perhaps was the wait time but it was ok for what you get later lol!

BONUS: it was raining heavily! They offered us a free ride to the hotel with their V-class...

We visited Beefbar Monaco for a special pre-birthday dinner for my fiancé. I had made the reservation weeks in advance, specifically requesting a nice table by the window to make the evening memorable. During the confirmation call, I even mentioned it was for his birthday and kindly reiterated our wish for a good spot.

Upon arrival, we were seated in a high-traffic pathway area, far from what we requested. When I asked to be moved, the staff initially refused, only accommodating us after a brief but uncomfortable discussion. This immediately set the wrong tone for what was meant to be a celebratory evening.

The service throughout the evening was disorganized. The sommelier and waiter arrived at our table simultaneously, creating a sense of chaos. While my fiancé and I were still discussing the menu and asking the waiter questions, the sommelier interrupted and insisted I taste the wine—clearly ignoring the fact that we weren’t ready yet. It felt rushed and inattentive.

To make matters worse, the staff completely overlooked the birthday I had mentioned multiple times. There was no acknowledgment, no candle, no gesture—nothing. When I discreetly mentioned this to the hostess, her response was a simple “sorry” paired with a weak excuse that it was due to our table change. No effort was made to make up for the oversight.

The food itself was excellent, which makes the poor service all the more disappointing. In a place like Monaco, where high standards of hospitality are the norm, this experience fell far short. What should have been a meaningful, celebratory night was instead overshadowed by careless and...

Tonight I decided to dine in Beef Bar, and while the food was undeniably delicious, the service left a lot to be desired. The dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, making it clear that the kitchen knows what they're doing. However, the overall dining experience was marred by the behavior of the staff.

From the moment I sat down, it felt like they were more interested in rushing me out the door than allowing me to enjoy my meal. At one point, a server abruptly took my plate away before I was even finished, without asking if I was done. My phone was on the table, and another staff member pointed at it and said, "Your phone"—no "please," no explanation, just a blunt remark.

Things took a strange turn when a waitress asked if I wanted alcohol. I declined, as I wasn’t in the mood to drink that day. Her reaction was shocking—she glared at me like I had committed some sort of offense, almost as if she was offended that I chose not to drink.

I do enjoy a drink, but I decided to pass that day. Unfortunately, that decision seemed to annoy the staff more than it should have.

It’s disappointing because the food was truly good, but the unwelcoming and rushed service made it hard to appreciate the meal. If the restaurant wants to maintain its reputation for great cuisine, it might want to reconsider how it treats its guests.
